Final Count Down!

I always make excuses as to why we do not post much... but no more excuses. We are going to try to post something everyday up to the wedding. t-minus 31 days.

Today I thought it would be a fun idea to post a few of our RSVP responses. I searched and searched for the madlib rsvp idea and did not come up with many pictures or ideas. Well we went ahead with the idea anyway and could not be happier. Here are a few:

Super excited to have fun advice from family and we will be able to save it in a scrapbook!-

DIY Pot Rack

Our kitchen is SUPER small and very limited in storage... so a few months ago we began thinking about how to expand our storage capabilities. We have nearly an entire wall that is empty and a cabinet FULL of pots and pans so we were thinking pot rack. Well the pot racks we liked were either a) too large for the kitchen or b) more than we wanted to pay. So we thought "hey, we could build one..." so we went to Google and searched out some ideas. There are a lot of good ones out there, and this is ours.

Josh's parents had spare rebar at their house and we cut it to the sizes we wanted. (If you don't have any spare lying around you can find it at any home improvement store and
it is really inexpensive and we only used one full length bar). We spray painted the rebar black to give it a more finished look.

The only other pieces we used were u-hooks to put in the wall and lay the rebar on, s-hooks to hang the pans on the rebar, and leather if we needed to adjust the length or size for the hook.

Total project cost about $25....

We just wanted to do a small catch up post to let you know we are sill alive and to look for more updates as we get closer to the wedding!
